To open a new retail outlet or mobile service unit requires considerable funds. For example using a traditional model of growth opening a new retail outlet would mean that the business owner would need to

  • find and fund a new lease.
  • complete a shop fit out,
  • purchase stock
  • recruit and train staff
  • fund wages, and associated on costs
  • advertise and market the new shop
